And we may be able to help

In recent years, medical recognition and social awareness regarding Endometriosis and its effects is growing, and more and more women have been taking action. Endometriosis treatment can range from pain relievers to invasive surgery, yet Lumenis CO2 laser treatment is taking patient care to a whole new sphere.

What is endometriosis?

Endometriosis occurs when endometrial tissue, which is normally found in the lining of the uterus, grows in other parts of the body, namely the pelvis and reproductive organs. The presence of endometrial tissue in these other organs can cause pelvic pain, pain during sex, infertility, and increased bleeding and pain during menstruation. Endometrial symptoms occur because endometrial tissue retains its function regardless of where it is located in the body. This means that it responds to hormonal changes that occur during the course of the menstrual cycle and bleeds as it would during menstruation.
70% suffer from severe menstrual cramps 50% suffer from chronic pelvic pain 25% have no pain symptoms
